As other people have said it: it keeps the usb sticks clean, specially when you move them btween Mac and Winblows platforms.

For the most part, its a great App. Mine does seem a bit glitch. Left click stall out on 2011 iMac OS X 10.8.2. Finder also keeps crashing. Maybe somethings conflicting with both Apps. Hmmm. It is a great App though.

This is one of the very few applications that I would recommed that any Mac owner purchase, install & use on his system. After too many promioses, too many dollars and too many problems I have found that the vast majority of after market products are just excess weight with limited benefit. However once in a great while you come across something that is worth the money does what it promises it will dpi and actually improves the functioning of your system. Does exactally what it says it will do. I use memory sticks between Mac and Windows so this has been great to keep things clean.Thank you.

For anyone who works with external drives on a regular basis this is a must have! Especially if you use these drives between Windows and OS X.

CleanMyDrive does in fact remove all thos pesky hidden files that drive Windows users bonkers… from the _root_ of the drive. I would love to see an option to perform a "DeepClean" where it would drill through the entire thumb drive. I understand this could take time which is why I suggest that it be an option, not the default clean.

Its an ok app not hard to use nice and basic

I use this app all the time. I boot it up everytime the computer starts up. It helps to keep my USBs and external volumes clean and space efficient. I would absolutely recommend this app for anyone starting out with a new mac.

This app has bricked two USB drives, including my best, fastest thumb drive. Its too slow at removing simple junk files, and sometimes it gets stuck, and I think thats where it maked my drives inoperable. So be warned: use with care. I prefer USBMate or Mountain.

Clean my drive does everything is say perfectly! I love it! I love how you can eject a USB flash drive from the cleanmydrive menu, and if you click the icon, it brings you to the folder! I haven’t needed to delete any “junk files” yet, but I can’t wait until I do! So far I have not seen one problem!

Extremely limited functionality. I would counsider this crapware. A system utility you don’t need. This is just link bait to direct you to buy CleanMyMac 2.

Pretty cool little app. Nice to know my external hard drives ect are all safe and clean now, never mind in one easy to locate area in the task bar!! :)
